Picture shrunken on Samsung TV

I am having a frequent issue where any time I turn on my Xfinity X1 DVR box, there is about a 50/50 chance of the picture being shrunken only to the top left corner. I have tried the troubleshooting steps in chats of a system refresh and have adjusted HDMI cords, but nothing has been more than a temporary fix. I have seen past topics on this never get fully resolved and wanted to see if there were any other possible fixes. This is only a problem with the Xfinity box as I don’t encounter this with any consoles or apps. I’ve even exchanged the box for another at an Xfinity store but still have the issue.

I have the same problem intermittently. About 20% of the time when I turn on my Xfinity X1 DVR, the picture only fills up the left top 1/4 of my Samsung TV screen. There is a post about this from a year ago that is closed, but none of the recommendations fix the issue except resetting the box.

I ended up swapping my box out, which I had already done before, but this time I got a different model and I haven’t had the issue in about a week in a half since setting up the new box.

I had what I believe is the Arris and Pace XG1v3 model DVR box when initially having the issue. I replaced the box at a store and got the same model and still had the issue. This time when I replaced it I was sent the Arris XG1v4 model DVR box and I have not had the issue since. Hopefully that helps you out.
