Peacock closed caption won't turn off

Regardless of what i do it won't turn off. Reset, clear cache, cleared data it just pops back on. Requested a new box got that, same [Edited: "Profanity"] thing!!!!! It will stop for about 20 mins then turns back on. Im ready to cancel this makes no sense. Peacock on Xumo. The actual tv settings is off as well

Blackbox43 Thanks so much for reaching out to us here today to let us know about the issue you are experiencing with the closed captioning settings in the Peacock app. You can turn off closed captioning on Peacock on a Xumo box by navigating to the Subtitles & Audio menu (text bubble icon), and select "Off". You can also try using the voice command "Turn off closed captions" or check the Accessibility settings in the Xumo menu. Please let me know if this does not resolve your issue.
