Paramount plus

I always have problems when watching programs on paramount plus. It is continuously lagging/stopping. This is the only app I have problems with. It is extremely frustrating when trying to watch a program. What can be done about it?

@XfinitySheila​ Is the comment below by "TEK" accurate?  If so, why isn't Xfinity recommending to all of us who have posted that we need a different box?

user_394d70 It's not something we are aware of. The app should work with all of our TV boxes, but we can try swapping the box to see if that helps. Are you having a similar issue?

I have a different post listing my issue, which is the same as many others on this Forum.  Seems Xfinity is aware there is an issue, stating it's a Paramount + issue.  I saw on a different post that there may be an indication it's also an Xfinity issue.  Why are Xfinity and P+ not working together on this?

Hi there @user_394d70! This is indeed a known issue. Resetting the cable box can sometimes solve it but as an alternative, you are able to watch the programming through the app on a computer or mobile device, and also via the XFINITY Stream app. Thanks!

That app only works well on the XG1v4 box, which is the 4k box. Very laggy on older boxes.

i have the same problem. I just got rid of paramount plus because I can;t watch it with my samsung tv and xfinity?    Apple tv and disney plus all buffer and are slow but paramount plus is not even watchable.
