no screen saver option
Hello, I have reviewed the forum and see that in the past there is some talk about screen savers and not being able (or even have the option) to change your screen saver. These are relatively old, is there a fix yet?

I'd like the answer also. I used to have landscapes and starting today, I only see animals and no option to change it in Device Settings.

I’m also having this problem. My setting was Landscapes and now all I’m seeing is Animals. Went into Settings and the Screen Saver Type option has disappeared. There’s no way to select what you want to see (and DEselect Animals).

Agreed! I had landscape as well, now I only have animals, not that they are not cute, but....

Same problem here. Over the weekend, I had landscapes, which I love. Suddenly, I now have animals and no option to change it. The setting has been totally eliminated. What the heck?

Hello, @dsinya. I appreciate you searching our forums to find the answer to your question before posting your own inquiry. We have not made any updates to the screensaver settings. The categories of the images continue to be Landscape, Entertainment or Animals.

same here. no option to change screen saver. It's GONE! Also, it'd be nice if you gave us even MORE screen savers!

Yeah, I don’t want this “wicked”on my television. Please give us screensaver options as the ones you have listed above DO NOT EXIST!! There is no landscapes or animals, NO OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE!! Please get this “wicked” garbage off my TV as I pay for my cable and it shouldn’t be what you want to show or advertise.

Yup you keep giving us the steps but there is no screen saver type to pick from this gone. I just restarted my box and still not there. Can you find out why?

I came here because I have the same problem and the Xfinity AI Assistant was utterly worthless. I see that the (supposedly) human representatives are no more helpful....
Maybe if I use all caps it will help?
As so many others have already told you on this thread, there is no "screen saver type" option available at all.
Repeatedly telling people to navigate to "screen saver type" after they have told you that this option does not exist is not helpful.

After a frustrating long attempt to chat with a human, I was told I have to upgrade my box and was sent this link. It’s a no go with my better half right now due to this action resulting in the loss of all her saved cooking shows, so I’ll have to tolerate “wicked” and endless xfinity promo…🥴
Reading the Q&A possibly explains the degraded download bandwidth I experience as I wait for buffering while skipping though [Edit: Language] commentary watching recorded football on my iPad.

Same issue..! 😡 No SS Type to select.. So best option at this point is to increase the SS Start After time to 30 minutes... So you get 'wicked' less often.. 👍

Still no screen saver option. What I am seeing instead is “ad” for new wicked movie. Over and over. Is it going to change back to screen saver options?

This is still a problem. Except now the only screen saver is an advertisement for the Universal movie Wicked. It’s not fair to make us watch that over and over. Please, please fix the screen saver option feature.
