Live tv is over a minute and a half delay

Live tv is over a minute and a half delay behind xfinity stream app watching sports with this delay is unacceptable as notifications and friends watching the game are texting me well before I see the play.

not great when your commercial brags about no delays. Have had a tech out trying to enhance speed… not worth the monthly price to be behind YouTube and others in my opinion

Hey there, @user_d9tbyj thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding the delay on Live TV. We would be happy to help you with troubleshooting. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps already? Are you having issues with specific channels or with all channels?

I have had a technician out to my house already he saw the delay and said it had to be something else since all system checks were green

Thank you for letting us know there was a tech out to look at the issue. Since it has been a few days, are you still having issues with the video delay?

Yes I am. It’s very noticeable on live sports and occasionally shows will start 3 mins after they are supposed to

Gotcha! Let's get someone back out there or atleast look to see if we can monitor things further.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.

What is going on with this delay? I get texts about plays a minute before I see them.

Hi, @user_no6uc1. Thank you so much for reaching out. I genuinely hope that you are doing well besides the recent hiccups you had with delays. I truly appreciate you taking the time to reach out. I have noticed that others are also reporting this issue. May I kindly ask if you are experiencing this with all channels/networks, or is it only during live games?

I would like to chime in.. Any channel that broadcasts in real time-usually news channels or sports (many have the time on the screen) have been 45 seconds to a minute behind

for at least the last couple years here in Illinois. At least you acknowledge the many posts on this subject.  Nothing drives me more crazy than one of the online reps treating this like an individual issue that will be solved by simply sending a DM on this forum.
