Live Sports Pixelated

Whenever we try to watch a live sport, especially football or hockey, the feed is pixelated. This is really bad on NESN HD during Bruins games. It gets so pixelated that it becomes nauseating to watch and we often have to tune to the SD channel feed (where there is no pixelation). I have checked all my connections, have reset the set-top box numerous times, and have no issues with the stream through the Xfinity Stream app on Roku. What gives Comcast? Getting tired of paying for a service that doesn’t even work most of the time!

Hello @user_e6c803! Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:

  1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon
  2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)
  4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!

use voice command 'device settings' and then go to video display. what is the setting showing there for video output resolution? also what is the channel station's call letters (like NBCHD) you are watching when this happens?

I think there might be a problem with the HD NFL feed. Tonight's MNF Broncos vs Chargers game kept pixelating. Really noticeable at halftime. Xfinity, I recorded the game if you want to see.

BTN is a problem at our house for live games (or replay of the same game).  My neighbor has no issues.  This only happens on BTN and I have gone through all of the resetting l steps numerous times.  HELP!
