I have tried repeatedly to resolve my problem with Xfinity Assistant and it is not able to help. It has reset my system several times and that has not helped. the last time, it said if it was not resolved, it would put me in touch with a person, but it just sent me back to the Assistant which is not capable of helping. We lost power due to a storm and since the box has reset (each time) it takes me to the "remote not working" page. And, yes the remote does not work, but it did before the power went out. I have two remotes and neither is working. I have tried all the online instructions and nothing helped. My internet is working. Please tell me how to talk to a person.

Hi @user_l0vayy, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We would be more than happy to offer assistance. Could you please provide more detail about the issue at hand? Does the set-top box appear to be in working order, but the remote is not working? Does the set-top box show the "Remote not working" error and not allowing a channel to be played or menu navigated? Does the remote still control the Television power and volume controls?
