Is it possible to set up a Favorites list similar to the Legacy box?

I'm new to X1, being forced to change over by Xfinity from a DVR box I was very happy to possess. My favorite element from that DVR box was the set up for my Favorites: Name of actor, Keyword or subject. I could click on "Clint Eastwood" and I'd get a list of his movies/TV shows coming up over the next 10 days to 2 weeks. I am not interested in what's on Apps, etc. Just my channels I pay for. I have all movie services but Cinemax at this time. With X1, I am afraid I will miss a movie or show that I really want to see.

There are a couple of ways to do it similarly. Unfortunately, there isn't an option to turn off where it is available but you will see a free to me option if it is on one of your channels. If the movie lets say is half way through and you want the next one, in the guide you can click the I button or info button and then select other times to see when it is on next. The third option is you can say it into the voice remote. When it pulls the movie you can select record then select other times. It will allow you to select future ones to record and will give you the time with the channel it is on.

@user_b92e42 Hi there, great news! With X1 comes the amazing voice remote. With the remote you can speak into it and say your favorite actor like Clint. The screen will then populate all the available content that relates to him. This link can help provide more information: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/get-to-know-voice-remote

Yes. I've used that but my problem is I don't want content that I don't have access to (specifically internet since I am not an Xfinity Internet subscriber). If "Escape from Alcatraz" is on HBO, I want to know when and what time. Just like it used to be on the legacy boxes. I don't want to know about what's on YouTube or Hulu or fill in the blank. I want it simple and easy to access.

You're very welcome and I hope it makes it easier. Another thing that might help with the views is on the guide, if you press the guide button again, it will give you options to filter your channels. One of which is the available ones to you.
