Intermitent sound

On 4 different tvs the sound goes out for a few seconds or more every 10 minutes. Live tv and recorded. Looking on the forums it seems to be a common problem. What are you doing to fix?

Hey there, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity forums regarding the issue you are having with your sound. Have you tried restarting your Xfinity cable box to see if that helps with your sound? Also, have you checked all of your wirings to ensure everything is connected properly and tight?

@XfinityJeniece​ there is NO fix to this other than xfinity rolling out a new streaming app. EVERYONE is still having the same problem!!!

Hello, and thank you for reaching out, @user_936b9b. I would like to look in what's happening with the volume issues you're experiencing on the app and to your cable boxes To confirm, what devices are you using to access the app, and what model cable box do you have? The is volume issue happening across all devices or only specific ones?

I also am so sick of this volume problem with the streaming app. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with someone who could barely speak English. He said he did something to fix it….nope still happens. Xfinity NEEDS TO FIX THIS.
