I Cannot Record Bally Sports North

I have Cloud DVR service, and I am unable to record or set a future recording on Bally Sports North.  This seems to be the only channel affected; I am able to make recordings on other channels, including Bally Sports North Extra.  When this happens, the X1 box does not produce any error messages.  When I attempt to set a recording on the Xfinity Stream website or in the Xfinity Stream App, it gives the message:

Unable to Schedule Recording

This may be a temporary issue so please try again later.
(Error TVAPP-00100)

Xfinity reports that this issue has been fixed.  I can confirm that it works for me now.

This might be related, but someone reported in the Comcast Xfinity Reddit forum a few days ago that they had recorded NHL hockey and NBA basketball games on their DVR, and those games disappeared from their DVR.

Same here. I can watch but not record any regional sports like Wolves or Wild. My scheduled recording for the Wolves vs Mavs tonight disappeared from my scheduled list. Also it seems to effect recording on the big 10 channel. I talked to support for over an hour and got no where. Big surprise!

Wasnt able to record the Wild Dallas game coming up but was able to record  the Wild Flyers and the Wild Coyotes future games.

This has been an issue since Friday for me. I have every Wolves game scheduled and on game day the scheduled recording disappears and it won't let me record. The only reason I have xfinity stream is for Bally sports North.

I can confirm what another user reported, that the Big Ten Network is also affected by this problem.  I was not able to record Gophers - Terps on Sunday night.

The upcoming Wild - Flyers game on Friday is on Bally Sports North Extra,  which doesn't seem to be affected by this issue.  I scheduled a recording for Friday's game, and I'll be very curious to see how the recording turns out.

We're all currently getting a free preview of NHL Center Ice.  Another user reported problems with Center Ice recordings, but I was just able to record a few minutes of a game without any issues.

I have been using the Xfinity app on my Apple TV and the recordings haven't been showing or working. Out of curiosity I tried watching on my actual DVR box and it's there. This feels like a major inconvenience and if a policy they need to be more transparent with it.

Hello @user_xxi71y, I love the DVR feature and the Stream app, so I can imagine how annoying this would be to deal with. I'd love a chance to work with you on this and help turn things around. Is this happening with all of your recordings, or just recordings with a specific show or network? Are you getting any error messages on the app when you try to access your recordings?

I also can not record programming from Bally Sports North channel.  I have been on two different chats with Xfinity with no resolution for this issue.  I was very specific in explaining the situation.  I have reset my Xfinity TV boxes as suggested.  It did not fix the problem.  I have attempted to set recordings on the Xfinity Stream iPhone and iPad apps.  I have reinstalled the Xfinity Stream app as Xfinity customer service chat suggested.  This did not fix the ability to NOT record Bally Sports North.  I have also attempted to use Xfinity Stream website.  That does not work!  Certainly Xfinity must be aware of this issue by now.  But Xfinity customer service representatives did not say they were working on the issue, say they were aware of others having the same issue.  And Xfinity did not express to me that it was important that this issue be resolved in a timely manner.  

Xfinity was willing to send a service person to my home.  Since Xfinity DVR is a cloud service, my TV boxes have been reset and working, and I had told the customer service representative I wanted to record the programming since I was not home - how would sending out a service person to my home be the next reasoned step to a resolution?

It's obviously not your equipment, it's xfinity. I've been on the phone for over 2 hours today and they had no idea what I was talking about. I pointed them to this forum post. She said she would escalate it since I'm not the only one dealing with it but we'll see. I think I was passed on to 4 different people. And no one knew what regional sports were.

She told me it's my fault recording won't work because I recorded the Vikings game and Timberwolves game on the same day and that was a conflict. I don't think a game at noon is going to conflict with a game at 630. Ugh. So frustrating. That's when I told her about this forum post.

I have the same issue.  Xfinity Cloud DVR service does not allow recording Bally Sports North programming.  I have had two customer service  contacts in the last 2 days reporting this problem to Xfinity.

I have the exact same problem. Been recording the Wolves for years. Now it shows that it is scheduled to record, until the day of and then it disappears and doesn't record. I cannot set it to record, it just gives an error.

Same problem; talked to 3 techs yesterday with no fix.  They scheduled a tech visit for this morning;  tech called an hour ago and said they are now aware of the problem and are working on it (appointment was cancelled as there is no problem on site).

I was able to schedule the wild game for tonight and the Wolves game for tomorrow...maybe it's working again...hard to tell until it actually records. But it at least let me schedule the recording finally.

I can confirm this is a known issue with recording Bally Sports North. We do not have any workarounds at this time, and appreciate your patience while our engineers work to get this resolved for everyone as soon as possible.

Monday evening update:

I was able to schedule a recording for the Wild - Stars hockey game on Bally Sports North.  I just watched some of the recording, and it works so far.
