how do i find the storage size taken of X1 DVR recordings currently stored?
hi,
how do i find the storage size of my X1 DVR recordings currently stored?
- for example, let's say my X1 tells me I have 45 programs/movies/shows currently stored, how do I find out how much storage size that takes up? -- so I know how much of the 150 Gb storage is being used, is being left to use.
Let me know.
Thank you.

When you go to your saved recordings in the upper right (above your first recording) it has %full and number of recordings. Not sure if that is different on the older boxes.

Hello dcfox,
The storage capacity for X1 DVR accounts are as follows:
Physical DVR storage = 500GB per physical DVR (Approximate)
Cloud DVR storage = 60 Hours per physical DVR (Generally the most recent 60 hours of recordings that have been recorded to the Physical DVR.

@ComcastAmir I was replying to OP @Anon1241835 who asked the question about where to find the information, My box shows the % and number of recordings. I have no problem.

If you have a true DVR and want to see the file size storage, you can find it in the X1 diagnostics:
Hold EXIT key for at least 5 seconds,
Press down arrow twice
Press the number 2 (the channel change window will briefly pop up.)
You can scroll down to DVR Info and hit OK to view the drive information. That said, I don't know if it's truely showing used data anymore. I just checked, and it has suspiciously 'clean' numbers.
