Fubo NESN 4K "Freezes" Often

The Fubo NESN 4K channel freezes often but not always.   These freezes are starting to occur more frequently in the last month.

Tonight - June 19th Evening Red Sox game - the "freezes" are VERY frequent.

Some good news - Last night - Sunday - June 18th Evening Red Sox game - there were almost Zero Freezes.

I have an LG TV - and am using the Wired Connection - to Xfinity.   I am using the FUBO app that I installed on my LG TV.

I have run the FAST Internet speed monitor from the Internet connection app on my LG TV.  Results vary tonight - between 25 and 72 mpbs, but have been as low as 11 - 12 mbps.

FUBO is telling me that I need a minimum of 25 Mbps stream for the NESN 4K channel on FUBO.

I have been running 4K on FUBO/LG/XFINITY since about May 2022  and only in the last month I have experienced sporadic problems.

I have done the Modem resets and uninstalled/reinstalled the FUBO App.   I do have the latest software update on my LG TV.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Joe

Fubo is correct about the minimum broadband speed needed for 4K. Other devices (phones, Kindles, etc.) may have apps running in the background. Either shut some down, or get more broadband speed.

When I watch NESN 4k on my Sony Smart TV via the NESN 360 app it does what you mention.

I am on Xfinity Internet. However, if I watch through a Roku it is fine.

I think NESn 4k has issues. I wish Xfinity would add the 4k channel to X1 directly, but for now I use the app on Roku with my Xfinity Credentials.

Good Evening @JoeXfin!  Have you had a chance to try MASN via the Roku Xfinity Stream App as mentioned above? If the internet service speeds are a concern, our amazing Xfinity App does have troubleshooting tips and guides to help maximize your internet experience.

Since you're using a wired connection, have we tried swapping out the ethernet cable yet?
