fire tv cube gen 3

Just upgraded to Amazon Fire TV Cube Gen 3 mainly for Xfinity cable TV control via the Amazon remote.  However, during setup when asked for providers in my ZIP Code (95066), Xfinity is NOT listed.  Comcast/Xfinity has been here for decades, so it's not new.  I have an XB7 box. 

Amazon tech support suggests it's an Xfinity problem.

Hi there @grouch92 ! Thanks for reaching out to us on the Community Forums! If you are still having an issue with your device, please make sure you are running Fire OS 6 or later. Also, here are some helpful links for third party devices and Amazon devices specifically with XFINITY!

@XfinityFrank​ Thanks for the reply, Frank.  I am running the latest Fire OS.  Unfortunately, the links are for using the streaming APP.   I have that already and it's OK, but I wanted the added benefits of the streaming DEVICE, the Fire TV Cube Gen 3.  I have contacted tech support on Amazon and they confirmed that they have no cable TV information provided from Xfinity for my ZIP code of 95066.   Until that happens my problem is unsolvable.

Thanks for letting us know @grouch92 . At this time, cable services are not on Fire Devices. If you would like cable services, you would need to get our awesome X1 cable boxes. Fire devices do however have the ability to use Xfinity Stream, which is different from traditional cable boxes like the X1.
