Favorite Channels Missing

I had a bunch of channels listed as favorites and I would use the favorites version of the guide.  Starting this morning, no channels show up in the favorites guide.  Looking at the all channels guide, the channels still show a "*" acting as if they have them listed as a favorite.  If you remove favorite and re-add it to the same channel, it then shows up in the favorites guide.  It was working fine yesterday and I have not had an outage or anything.  Was there a software release or something that messed up favorites?

Found a fix. Go online via internet and pick LIVE TV. Show all channels, click the star to the left to rebuild favorites. It propagates to all TV boxes. Xfinity was going to roll a truck -- WHAT NONSENCE. They don't have a clue.. They were going to send a tech out LOL

Happened again, all favorite channels gone again.  This is getting REALLY old...I guess Xfinity doesn't know how to test a new release.

FYI, for those needing to reset their favorites yet AGAIN...

If I go to the main box it does not show any favorites (i.e., there are no "stars" next to any channel).  However, on the small remote boxes they still show "stars" next to the old favorited channels, but they are actually not favorited (i.e., if I go to the guide for favorited channels it shows no channels and tells me how to add favorites).  If I then pick one of the old favorited channels on the remote box, choose remove favorite, then readd the same exact channel as a favorite, it then shows that one channel as a favorite if I go the the guide that shows favorites. 

Still a huge pain, but at least it's a quicker way to identify which channels you used to have a favorite on.

Yep, lost my favorite channels list also.  Not sure when it happened but noticed it around 1:15pm today

I'm not OP, but I have the same problem. This happens to me when using the Stream app. I use the Stream app in a browser (Chrome), and also on a Fire Stick. It seems like my favorite channels keep reverting to a previous state. This feature is extremely unrealibable. The Stream app overall is disappointing to me.

What happens when you try to add the networks back to your favorite channels list? Does it get added then goes away again or refuses to be added again?

Same thing happened to me.  I finally figured out they had changed something (no power outage) and I had to go to EACH channel that I had marked as favorite - choose remove favorite and then choose favorite again!  That started a NEW favorites list....good grief - it took me some time to do that to ALL the channels I had previously listed as favorites!

Having the same issue. I went to the steaming app on my roku to go to my favorites list. I am missing at least 5 favorites on my list but when I search live TV, I find the show and it says it’s a favorite but it’s not in my favorites. I removed the show and added it back and it is still not showing up. My kid is heartbroken that he can’t watch his favorite show - it’s a big deal to my child with special needs

Hey, @user_50cdda, and thanks for taking the time to let us know about the issues you're facing with your Favorites. I know this happened to me as well, so I can understand exactly how upsetting it is. This was an issue with the feature that our team was able to correct. Please test out the feature, and let us know if you're still having any trouble. We'll be here if anything happens!

2nd time it's happened to me in the past 3-4 months.  Never found out a fix.  Last time i was lucky enough to see that the channels were still marked but had to go to each one and add them back. Ridiculous

Happened to me today (cable box). Last night the favorites were there, today not, in the favorites section it just shows you how to add a favorite, and in the full HD section they are no longer starred. 

Guess I'll have to go re-add them all!

Edit: Thanks for tip above about doing it from online. On the Stream app you can just click all the stars to add to favorites, much quicker than doing it through the cable box.
