Error RDK-03004

The error showed up and it is not going away. Xfinity has no information on this. I’m about to really cancel my account. I see some people had the same issue but Xfinity doesn’t want to display the solution publicly and each time they ask users to contact privately. Why not post the solution here?

Hello and welcome to Comcast @henrybouresh. Thank you so much for reaching out to us regarding the error code RDK-03004. You are in the right place and I am happy to assist you today. 

To resolve this issue, you may need to try the following:

  • Ensure cable connections are tightly secured.
  • Unplug TV Box from electrical outlet.
  • Wait 10 seconds, then plug back in to restart.

And what do you do when this doesn't work?  It's like negative 40 degrees outside in Chicago.  Don't feel like going to swap boxes in this weather
