DVR Smart Resume stopping too soon
I am so tired of having to watch commercials because the Smart Resume doesn’t work right. I always have to watch at least 2 commercials. Would resetting my DVR from settings help or would that delete my recordings? I really need this fixed. Can anyone help? I have seen a lot of posts about this and no one knows how to fix it.

Hey @Ttomcanin, thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support on our Forums. Smart resume will start a bit sooner than the show so it doesn't go past it. When you are fast forwarding, are you doing it on the Lightning bolt option? If so, does it have less of a lead time when using one of the slower fast forward options? Resetting the box, would only impact your recordings if there was a recording going at the time of doing it.

All of the Xfinity inputs are pretty much the same - reboot, new boxes, when did it stop working.....
I liked this one the best "I did not find anything in our known issues " of course is it a known issue - duh.
