DVR of sports keeps starting over

I see many people have had this problem but no solution was offered before closing the inquiry.  My sports recordings suddenly go back to beginning, very frustrating.  It happens frequently within same broadcast and happens often with different recorded games.  What is the solution?

@2585mljp Thanks for adding a post. Is the recording cut short as well, or can you fast forward beyond the point it returns?

We can (and do) fast forward to where it cut off.

Thanks so much for that info @2585mljp .  So that we an get a better look at what is going on, please feel free to shoot us a private message with your details.  


To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging 

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

 • Press Enter to send it
