DVR not recording all shows
As of 2 days ago DVR stopped recording scheduled shows. I saw 2 other form pages with similar issues from November and January. My issue is broadcast TV channels seem to record. All others channels will not record I have the red circle with the/through it. None will not record.
Help please.

I noticed this weekend that shows I've cancelled the recording, record anyway and even if I see the Confirmed screen on a new recording, it doesn't show in my scheduled recordings. I've restarted my set top box (I only have the one) and no change.

I am having identical problems recording on the xfinity DVR. Only can record certain programs or shows/channels. I just get a red circle with a line in the circle indicating that I cannot record that show. When I go to on demand for seeing that show later on, it indicates I have to pay for it even though it is part of my xfinity package. Very frustrated.

In the last week I switched my TV recording device from Tivo to Xfinity. I'm very unhappy that with Xfinity, I'm unable to record some shows. I have now tried about 7 times to record the PBS show, Seaside Hotel. Each time it takes me through the steps: Only this recording or all episodes; confirm; your recording has been set. Only it never records. On the TV guide it does not show that the program is set to record, and when I go to Saved and it does not show as recorded or scheduled to record. I did successfully schedule a different PBS show to record: Unforgotten. That's the only show I'm recording, so I have not used up the limit. I rebooted the TV and nothing changed. This is all very frustrating.

I can only record certain shows. Not able to record. It says the show is set to record but never does. I would like to speak with someone. This is very frustrating.

I had a similar issue where a series recording was not recording, only difference was that it didn’t even have a red circle with the line through it. I went to scheduled recordings, then series priority. Find the series that was supposed to record and hit the little ‘d’ button to delete the series recording, the set it to record again. That fixed my issue. Your problem may be that it just needs to be moved up in the priority if too many shows are being recorded at the same time
