DVR not recording all shows

As of 2 days ago DVR stopped recording scheduled shows. I saw 2 other form pages with similar issues from November and January. My issue is broadcast TV channels seem to record. All others channels will not record I have the red circle with the/through it. None will not record.
Help please.

Thank you for reaching out to us in the Forums. That does seem a little odd, that you can record some shows not all. Must be frustrating. You've definitely come to the right place for help. Have you done any trouble shooting steps found in the My Account app? Some issues can be software related and fixed with updates that you can do using the Trouble Shooting tool found in the My Account app.

If you continue to have this issue, please send me a private message with your first and last name. To send me a private message, just click on my name "ComcastDaryl" and click "send a message."

Hi there! I'd be glad to ensure that this gets looked into further. Please click on my handle (ComcastRob) and send a private message with your name, the complete service address (including city, state, ZIP, suite number, etc), and the phone or account number, and any pertinent details-- like the ticket number(s)-- so we can help.

I noticed the same thing. Under “recordings “ all shows were not listed. I had to go to “for you” and then saw a list of “just recorded “ then had to scroll down to “recordings still waiting for you”. I rebooted the box but it didn’t change anything. I’m going to try this suggestion. Thank you!

I just discovered that the complete list of recordings is available on the app but not directly on the TV screen. I did a reboot and still have the same problem.

I have the exact same problem as Denise. We rocord shows on the DVR and they are not listed when we search the DVR on the TV. But, If I use the app, all shows are listed. In this situation, we cannot watch recorded shows on the DVR

do you have more than one set top box? see if all the recordings are shown on other (non-DVR) set top boxes.

I discovered that all my shows are being recorded and they are on the DVR. All of the recordings use to be listed under “recordings”. Now, only some of them are listed there. The rest of the shows I recorded were found under “for you”. I don’t know why the list is separated like that. I liked it better when all of the shows were listed under “recordings”.

go to the recordings list on the xfinity menu. does a set top box location name appear above the first recording? press down then back up and select that name and change to 'all'.

I think he meant press one instead of own but not sure.

I’m having a similar issue. None of my regular series are being recorded and I cannot record any new shows. I’m also getting the red recording dot with a slash through it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you for reaching out to us in the Forums. This is known issue and the way to resolve it, is to cancel all of your series recordings and reset it up again. This will correct all future episodes.

I no longer work for Comcast.
