DVR freezing on recordings

I'm having issues with recordings suddenly freezing and then skipping short sections of recordings.  It's happening quite frequently.  Should I be looking at replacing my DVR?  It doesn't happen during normal broadcasts.

Yes, I have rebooted the DVR, along with hard reboots, to no avail.

Pamm, I ended up doing a chat with a guy on Xfinity and he told me to replace my box.  I just picked up the new one today, so I'll keep an eye on it and let you know if that resolves the issue.
