Discovery+ will not load

Discovery+ will  now not load, stays on the discovery+ Screen, but never opens the app. This is just been a problem in the last couple weeks. Super frustrating

Thank you for taking the time to visit our official Xfinity Community Forums page. Please accept my most sincere apology for the experience you have encountered. There is currently a known issue in regard to the Discovery+ application being unable to launch. With your Discovery+ subscription, you can log in to other smart devices using your log in to watch all the great content they provide. We hope to have a fix in place by the end of next week. Please let us know if you continue to experience issues after that. We are always a quick message away.

Hello @user_4afbe3 unfortunately, we have not yet been given an ETA on the fix for the Discovery + launch issues on the X1 platform.

I am having the same problem.  I have been to the store twice and given different devices.  I spent two hours on the phone with a representative and got cut off.  I just now found this forum.  You really need to let the stores know of these problems.

@user_4afbe3, I appreciate you letting us know. I am sorry to read you are experiencing these troubles as well, and only want the best for you. I have passed your feedback along about more ways for us to know about ongoing issues company-wide. As mentioned this is being worked on, and we are hoping for a resolution soon. Since this can be intermittent, you may be able to find relief by relaunching the app after a reboot of the equipment.
