Deleted scheduled recordings record anyway
I have several favorited actor/directors and frequently review the scheduled recordings view to delete some entries to limit redundant recordings or stuff I’m not interested in. The dvr will confirm the recording is deleted, display the “cancelled” icon, then the cancelled icon will go away and the show will record anyway. Same behavior in the app.

There are a couple other threads for this, one has many responses, so far there is no fix, and Xfinity is not taking any responsibility. I have been going through this for about 4 weeks now, maybe longer, others have been noticing this the past week or so.

thanks so much for sharing - not sure why I didn't find those when i searched. I guess the math i did today where sonic + hulu dvr is $80/month cheaper was truly worth doing.
