Many five year ago posts report recording issues with one or random shows. These problems for us never existed until a week ago. We’ve tried everything that’s been recommended BUT manually setting the show. We’ll try that tonight. I call Xfinity for technical support after 45 minutes on the phone with a representative not fluent in English I request a service representative
come out. The online representative pushes back telling me the cost of the service call. At this point I don’t care. $224 a month we need this resolved.
additionally on one TV no volume for a 24 hour period. The work around in the next room turn the volume loud enough where we can hear it while we sit in the room with no volume. These problems resolve in the morning. Volume is back. Similarly on all TVs volume will cut out or freeze. We turn the TV off and back on and the volume is back. The cell phones have IOS updates to address bugs and address problems. Has Xfinity TV thought of this. Our town does not have Verizon FIOS and never will.
