Choppy Recordings and Slow Xfinity box

I would like make complaints rather than ask questions. First is the fact that Xfinity cuts service during the weekday when people are working from home without prior notice. Second, since we had our service installed the Xfinity box has been choppy and slow. The channels are choppy and freeze. The recordings because the channel is choppy is also choppy and freeze and sometimes we end up watching a stop motion picture instead. But if I cast from the app the picture is fine. This makes no sense. Third, and I mentioned this, the box is slow when accessing the guide, on demand, accessing an app and even exitng from an app or on demand movie. I've read the troubleshooting tips that instruct me to restart or reset the device which do not work. I've read the noise level can disrupt the device which makes no sense as to why it would disrupt it nor why windows would disrupt functionality.

The choppy picture is probably due to having a poor signal to the box. That can also explain the slowness of the user interface. Most TV channels are still QAM and are plain digital TV channels. Video from apps, most OnDemand, and probably from casting are through the Internet and can tolerate some noise as they buffer digital data.

What model box do you have? You can find the model number on the back or bottom, or look at pictures online.
