Chicago Bulls recording problem

I set a 3 hour recording (NBC Chicago 200)  of the Bulls game last night.  About 75 minutes in, the recording just stopped and kicked me out.  Every other program I had recorded

before and after were OK.  If something happened around that time to interrupt the recording, shouldn't there have been a cloud version- instead of not being able to see the 2nd half of the game?  Before I was kicked out, the recording showed that it was 3 hours in length on the "bar"

Hi, I understand how frustrating it is to not get the recording of your set, this isn't how we want you to experience your TV service. I would like to as a few questions to see how we can help. When you set the recording, did you schedule it from within the Xfinity Stream app, or from an X1 box?

@tbill1 Thank you for letting us know. Have you tried watching the program from any other devices, and are you experiencing the same issue on all of them?

I no longer work for Comcast.

It only happened that one time.  I only use the box for watching TV.  The issue isn't so much why it happened,

but why no Cloud copy?  I was under the impression that all DVR recordings also have a duplicate Cloud version,

so that if something interrupts the recording, we still see something.

@tbill1 Great question. If the recording was interrupted on the box, the cloud recording would be affected as well.

Then why do I sometimes have cloud recordings (which I generally hate) instead of the normal DVR recordings?
