Can’t open appletv thru xfinity

I have tried 15-20 times to sign into appletv thru the xfinity app platform. I already have an Apple ID but when i try to sign in a blank screen w/ the loading wheel continues to spin and will not open the app. I’ve spent 4 hrs trying multiple attempts and a couple of hours on call w/ customer service who could not resolve the issue. Frustrated is an understatement to describe my experience. Please assist

Here is an interim solution provided by Apple that should help to resolve the issue. Please follow the directions below:

 

  1. Log in to Apple TV on macOS, IOS
  2. Windows users can log into Apple TV at https://tv.apple.com
  3. A Terms and Conditions prompt will display. To proceed, accept the Terms and Conditions.
  4. Log in from your Xfinity X1 or Flex device

Could not login to Apple TV through Xfinity at all on July 25 2022. Experiencing the “loop” problem again on all tvs. Fine on my apple device so it is definitely an Xfinity issue. What’s the resolution and timing? Why does this happen intermittently? It needs to be fixed. Using xi6 boxes. Xb5 x1 modem.

On July 25th could not login to Apple TV on any of my Xfinity devices. Experiencing the loop issue. Why? When will this be resolved. Called in to customer support and the last 5 callers all had the same issue. It’s an Xfinity issue. Resolution? When? [Edited: "Language"]
