Can Xfinity remote "Channel" button be programmed to only scroll among Favorites?

I figured out how to program the Guide so that it only shows my Favorite channels.  However, when I'm watching TV and change channels on the Xfinity remote with the Channel up/down button, it will advance to the next numeric channel, not the next Favorite.  To effectively channel surf among your Favorites, you have to keep popping out to the Guide.

Does anyone know a way to program the remote or box so that the Channel button only advances among my Favorites, and skips the channels that are not on my Favorites list?  Thanks!

As of right now, there is no way to program that as of yet. However, it is great feedback and a feature I feel could be added in the future. 🙂 I will be sure to pass it along.

Ye, please make that a feature.  It is a very useful and much needed use of a channel scroll, but please make it a setting so one also can scroll all channels as well.

My 84 year old mother would greatly appreciate that!

Yes please add this function, my 72 yr old brother is disabled and can not operate through the menu and multiple buttons on the normal controller. Simple channel up and down of only his favorites would be a godsend

YES PLEASE! These new remotes are not user friendly at all, and very difficult for someone who doesn't understand them  to use them easily.

Being able to change channels only on favorites list would be WONDERFUL!

Mom has a terrible time with this remote, and is constantly hitting the input button as well.

thank you

Going forward, I don't know of any specific programing in regard to the channel +/- buttons toggling only to your Favorites list but I can see what other documents/options there are to help! To confirm, what is the exact model type to the Xfinity remote in question?

Thanks.

So to close out the original question, there is no way to program the remote's Channel button to only scroll through Favorite channels, correct?

It is the XR15 v2-UQ remote.

Thanks for any suggestions.  If it's not possible now, I'd like to submit it as a feature request.  I seems like something that would be a fairly straightforward software update to add as a feature option.

Any news on this functionality? This is something other companies do like Dish network, my brother is disabled and I bought him a universal remote with only power on, channel up/down, volume up/down and he can do those simple commands but it would make it much easier to pick only his favorite channels ( about 25 ) to loop through with the channel up/down button rather than the hundreds he has to go through now. Please for all disabled and elderly customers make this happen.
