can no longer set t v to go off after 1 hour under the power saver / preferences/ device setting

I no longer have an option for T.V. to go off after 1 hour with the power saver option.

All I see now is this:

"Power saver - on'

" Conserve energy by setting your T.V. box to power down when you're not watching."

Have had it set to power off automatically after 1 hour of non activity.

Woke up in the middle of the night and T.V. was still on after 4 hours.

While the 'Power Saver' feature is available as an option it appears to have no effect.  Even though I have chosen to set it to 'On'  my X1 set-top box does not turn itself off.  It even prompted me to set it up about two months ago - and gave me time options, such as 1 hr, 2hr, 4hr.  This is how it is described: "Power Saver is a feature that saves you money by reducing the amount of energy your TV Box uses by automatically powering it down when it's not in use. You'll know when your X1 TV Box is powered down because the green/blue/white power light on the front panel of the device will be off. (When the green/blue/white power light is on, the device is powered up.) ".   Unfortunatley, it never powers off, the power light stays blue for days.   I beleive I am also racking up data usage while the blue light is on - I use a sound bar and can still hear the audio even after my TV has shut itself off (using the TV's timer). I've exceeded my 1TB of data several months.    It would be nice to have this power-off feature back.

the power save does not turn off the set top box, it turns off LED(s), displays (if applies), and the HDMI video ouput. if you leave the set top box in power save mode 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year your power savings are about a $1.00 but then you don't need the set top box, right? the data usage is possible only if you are using an internet app like youtube. linear chanels and on demand don't use your 'charged' internet bytes.

UPDATE .....

It reverted back to 4 hours for the power saver. I called comcast and explained. They said it reverted to 4 hour only in Nov 2017. Hmmmm . That's interesting since I just started having this problem in May 2018.

I did a test. I shut off T.V. using " all power" button. Waited 10 mins. Turned it back on etc. There was the usual caption that I'd saved 10 mins of power etc.

And AGAIN I clicked on the info button to the right of that caption.

I got the choice of having the power go off after 1 hour or 4 hours again.

so far it's working for the 1 hour option.
