Can I pair multiple remotes with XG1v4-A?

I have a new Sofabaton X1S universal remote that I would like to use with my Xfinity box. Is it possible to do this without unpairing the Xfinity remote that I already have? I'd like both to be functional.

@user_noryq9  Does the X1S do RF?  That's what the Xfinity uses when its remotes pair to its X1 boxes.  My XG1v4s will react to an IR Harmony remote while still paired to the Xfinity remote.  But, I have found using IR with the Xfinity XG1v4 to be slow and inconsistent, no matter how i adjusted it.  So, I gave up and use the Xfinity remote instead.  Maybe you'll have better luck using IR with Sofabaton.

I am unaware of being able to pair a non-Xfinity remote to the box.  However, I do know you can pair multiple Xfinity remotes to the same box. I have two remotes on my XG1v4.

I've done that, too.  Looks like the OP wants to keep their Xfinity remote paired and add a Sofabaton.  Their website says Sofabaton only does IR with Xfinity.  So, that should work, altho as I noted above I've found IR to be less than stellar with many Xfinity functions.

@user_noryq9  That is a great question! I know that I have paired more than one remote to my cable box, but they were both Xfinity remotes. (I hid one from my kids, so I always knew where a remote is.) You can definitely give it a try, however the remote may not be compatible or work correctly with our equipment. If you run into any issues getting the remote to pair to the cable box, you would need to reach out to Sofabaton support for assistance. If you do get it to work we'd love an update!
