Black screen

Every single time I turn on my tv, I get a black screen. Sometime it pops up with a “sorry, that didn’t go as planned” message and try again. Most of the time I have to set the box (4K box) again. Prior to this, I got 2 bad dvr boxes in a row - and now this. I’m sick of having to reset my box every day when I turn on the tv. I’ve called twice and they claim the box wasn’t registered correctly - I call [Edited: "Language"] because it’s never worked right. I’m seriously regretting switching from DirecTV.

HI, @Trishaanne. I Can understand the frustration of repeat issues and I am sure we can figure out what the issue is a take care of it. I see your area has work being done that can impact service and I would be happy to follow up here with you after it is over to look over everything and see what we can do.

I wanted to check back in with you. Are you still getting this error on your cable box? I do show the repairs in the area have been marked as completed.
