Beeping sound on tvs

While watching tv, there keeps being a beeping sound. As if there’s a weather alert or something, but nothing is there.

Has the beeping sound persisted since your original post, or has it gone away by now?

I have the exact same issue on my smaller cable box. TV operates fine for a few minutes then I get a loud beeping weather alert type sound. Doing a system refresh to that box right now. The noise comes from the TV audio.

That is definitely an odd situation. Has the sound come back since doing the restart?

We are having the beeping tonight without weather info on screen. Got a new Xfinity box yesterday.
