I have my sound running through my JBL surroundsound system approximately 10 days ago the audio started falling to sync with the picture.
Xfinity recommended I update my box which I did and the issue is still persistent what has changed on Xfinity‘s end? Line cables are tight I can stream video and the audio is in sync which points to Xfinity box issue please help can’t have TV like this

Hello there @user_c4fe83 thank you so much for reaching out for help with your audio not being in sync. The sounds not matching up is one of my pet peeves so thank you so much for the chance to help. I was able to find great step-by-step options you can check and try to make sure all your settings are where they should be.
Please follow these steps and make sure all the settings are correct on the new TV and cable box.
Verify/disable the SAP/MTS switch for the TV, DVD, VCR, or other connected devices.
A button on the device's remote (not the universal remote).
If you have multiple devices connected between the TV Adapter or TV Box and the TV, it may be necessary to check the settings on each connected device.
If the issue is still occurring, verify the Default Audio Track setting on the video device guide.
Lastly, make sure the HDMI cable is plugged into both the new TV and cable box tightly. Also, check for damage to the cable or kinks. I have found that a bad HDMI cable is usually the cause of audio issues. (credit to @XfinityAnna)

The same exact thing has been happening to me for months. The audio is completely out of sync during the live broadcast and on all my DVR recordings. This is extremely frustrating. This is not an issue with any of my streaming apps… only when I watch Xfinity. ??

audio sync of HDMI connected devices is usually performed using the TV's menu. If you are using a sound bar/home theater device that has an HDMI input then that device provides the sync menu adjustment. on a TV with 3 HDMI inputs, the setting is remembered for each separate HDMI port.
