Are you still there? Message
Xfinity please stop trying to be Netflix! I want an option not just for 5 hours I want to be able to turn it off! So stupid I have it as background noise and I watch the tv while working around the house. Many customers have complained so why don’t you make it an option to turn it off?

XFINITY, PLEASE STOP THE "ARE YOU STILL WATCHING TV, JUST BEFORE THAT ANNOYING SCREEN SAVER POPS UP AND INTERRUPTS THE TV SHOW I AM WATCHING" I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THIS OCCURRING EVERY 4 TO 5 HOURS. I have tried calling Xfinity over this aggravating issue, the overseas Xfinity service Rep who answered my call told me that he turned it off the screensaver power mode, only for the screensaver to come back 5 hours later, so he lied to me, I'm not surprising since he didn't even seem to know what day it was, or speak English fluent enough to really understand what he was attempting to explain to me. I am paying for continuous TV service, not paying to watch TV in 4 - 5 hours blocks of a time. Why would Xfinity even program this annoying feature into their X1 Box without 1st asking customers, and without a way for Xfinity customers to override this annoying screensaver and turn it completely off. This is the United Sates of America, Not A Communist Country where how to watch TV is dictated to us by Xfinity. Will Xfinity Customers have to escalate this issue to our local politicians to get this resolved??? Or should we just keep your internet service and purchase outside TV Service where our TV shows will stay on uninterrupted? "XFINITY PLEASE ADVISE US, BECAUSE OUR PATIENTS IS RUNNING VERY THIN."
