Are These XFinity DVR Compatible Boxes?
Last Wednesday, I changed my TV package to the Ultimate TV package, which is supposed to include 20 hours of DVR cloud. I'm still waiting for it to work as every time I try and record, I get a pop-up message on my screen that shows a circle with a line through it and a message: "We can't record this program. To record, you'll need a DVR subscription." I've gone through three phone calls, and a technician who came out, called up customer support and took that through five people from Tier 1 to Tier 3, and still nothing. I did some research and I saw that some Xfinity boxes are not DVR compatible, so I made a list of the model numbers. I hope someone can tell me if these boxes are good or do I need to exchange them.

Hello @Outsiders, thanks for reahcing out for help with your X1 equipment!
If you go here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-hub-vs-companion-box, we have a helpful like that will go over what boxes are DVR's and what boxes are Non-DVR's. You have 150 hours of X1 Cloud DVR storage for each X1 DVR TV Box on your account. If you exceed your limit, your most recent recordings will replace older recordings unless the older recordings are marked as Save for 1 Year.
