Accessibility Customer - grounded and bonded

Unsuccessful Accessibility Services installation.

  • The installation Technician said we must hire an electrician to ground the wire so that they Xfinity can then come in and bond.
  • Is it true they don’t do wires in the house anymore so initially the grounding and bonding will be done by the electrician and xfinity will piggyback off the work any electrician we hire performs?
  • Is it true that Xfinity wireless box only runs on Xfinity internet? AT&T fiber is installed in the neighborhood
  • Xfinity has a more Accessibility friendly high contrast remote.

@user_obwum9 Thank you for reaching out on the Xfinity Community Forums. I will be happy to answer your questions.

1. Yes, that is correct we do not provide or do wiring inside the home. You would need to hire an electrician.

2. The wireless boxes do require you to have Xfinity Internet and Gateway in order to use.
