How come Xfinity's website is always ridiculously slow

Every single time I sign in, the website is extremely slow or useless, and yes, I already checked my internet speed and other websites, this is the only website that is very very slow and this is a recurring problem, it happens all the time not just once. Every time I get the message "We are having some trouble connecting to My Account." It is hard to believe that Xfinity, being an internet company, has such ghetto speeds in their own website. It feels like its on purpose so no one can make any changes to their accounts. This is also why I would never even consider to have a phone plan with xfinity.

Good morning @user_7d4wax, and thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback about the XFINITY website. I will pass that along to our dev team to review. If you have a smartphone, head over to https://www.xfinity.com/apps to download the XFINITY app.  The app is a great one-stop shop to handle multiple things for your account. You mentioned making changes to your account, is there anything that I can assist with?

How many extensions does your browser have?  Have you tried disabling some to see if that makes a difference?

I am not able to update my payment method because the website is slow/broken/not working or whatever. I keep getting the message that it is not available right now but they are on it. I have tried for several days now. I guess I have to make a phone call to work with a web service provider. How old fashioned. Fix your website already. I have done business with xfinity for several years now and the website has always given me trouble. Not sure what to do next other than give them an old fashioned phone call.

I pay ALL my bills online and the Xfinity website is the ONLY website that I have continuous issues with.  It's laughable since they are the ones providing internet service.  You would think if anyone had a well developed website it would be them.

I tried to update the credit card info. This site is a spin of death with multiple messages "

ERROR

Sorry, this isn’t working right now

Please return to My Account Overview while we resolve the issue

"

Just clicking on Billing gives this message "Just a moment. This is taking a bit longer than expected, but we're on it."

Simply clicking on Billing first displays this "Just a moment. This is taking a bit longer than expected, but we're on it." and then subsequently "

ERROR

Sorry, this isn’t working right now

Please return to My Account Overview while we resolve the issue."
