Failed to Generate Verification Code

What can I do to fix this horrible login experience!?

Thank you for taking the time to review our Xfinity Community Forums page. We would be more than happy to assist with the account authenticator. Are you using the "Xfinity App" in order to approve any log in attempts with your Xfinity ID or using the "Xfinity Authenticator App"? Would you also be able to clear all your cache/cookies within the web browser and hard power cycle your cable modem by unplugging the device for 20-30 seconds and plugging the device back in?
