Hi there! Thanks for using our Forums and for reaching out. Are you trying to access the Rewards with the primary Xfinity ID on the account?

This is happening to my account as well for 2 weeks now, as of today 10/22/2026, still giving me the same error message when I try to access membership benefits to claim rewards. This is frustrating. It is happening to certain accounts because other family members are able to claim their rewards with no issues except me and my dad's accounts have the same error message. I've tried:

1) Uninstalling Xfinity app, clearing my cache, reinstalling the app. Same issue.

2) Cleared my cache, tried to claim it on mobile browser (Chrome), same issue.

3) Logged in on a computer web browser, same issue. Cleared cache, same issue.

Please fix this, I've lost out on 2 weeks of rewards.

A rendering error occurred: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'fields').

I agree with everyone else. This is frustrating and with my contract expiring in less than a month, this isn't helping in convincing me to stay with them.

user_qioe7u Thank you for reaching out. Our team is aware of the issue affecting access to Rewards and is actively investigating it. In the meantime, some customers have reported success by trying a different web browser, using an Incognito/Private browsing window, or disabling a VPN if one is in use.

If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, we appreciate your patience while our teams continue to work toward a resolution. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and are committed to restoring full functionality as quickly as possible.

This is happening to certain accounts. My father-in-law and brother-in-law each have their own xFinity account and they have been able to claim their membership benefits. My father and I each have our own separate xFinity accounts and he and I are having the same issues. We all tested this out on the same laptop using the same browser! 2 out of 4 of us are able to login and claim benefits, and the other 2 are getting this error message!

Still the same issue today. At least it seems like they finally acknowledged there is an issue instead of asking people to do unnecessary things. What is like to know is that Comcast will do to compensate people, like me, who missed out on the rewards last week and today.

I'm still getting the same error reported in this discussion, and I have for a week across multiple browsers, devices, and internet connections.

The Xfinity Support team via the Xfinity Assistant Chat tool seems to be unable to reproduce the issue and suggests it's a user-specific problem. Fortunately, the discussions here identify that's not the case.

The last agent, Deeksha, I just chatted with, after directing them to this discussion, said the following, after originally telling me it was my problem:

"Don't have to worry, this is forwarded to the concern team, and they will work and get them fixed as soon as possible, so you don't have to be bothered about it. It gets done, and there is a particular time frame."

I'm surprised there seems to be such a communication error across Xfinity teams that they are unaware of an issue like this that has persisted for a week, and are assuring customers who report the issue to them that the issue is with the customer, not with Xfinity, except when pressed.

Hopefully, Xfinity directs more attention to this issue, especially when multiple customers have reported experiencing the same thing.

Thanks to all the other Xfinity customers who have contributed here. It's nice to know I was just being gaslit by Xfinity, and I was correct in identifying a persistent problem that was not originating from me.

I hope other Xfinity users who are being similarly misinformed can feel a little better as a result of this discussion, too :)

Hi there, can you try these steps and let us know if you are able to access it? We have had some userd have success with this workaround.
  1. Clear cache and history on browser.

  2. Go to https://customer.xfinity.com/membership/history

  3. Click on the "< Back" link.

Please let us know if it was successful!

I've had this issue for two weeks. I'm unable to access my benefits or redeem any of my offers because of:

A rendering error occurred: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'fields').

I know other companies like T-Mobile offer statement credit for offers that aren't able to be redeemed due to technical issues like this. Is there anyone I can get in touch with?

This was successful but unfortunately I missed 2 weeks of drops due to this requiring a backdoor method to access.

@XfinityAirelle This worked for me on Edge, without having to even clear the cache and history.

Unfortunately, the $10 Adidas reward I was hoping to redeem has already been depleted, despite me spending the last 90 minutes chatting with an Xfinity customer support representative through the Xfinity Assistant tool who spent at least an hour trying to suggest the problem was specific to me and seemed to have no knowledge of this issue being persistent across multiple users, despite this discussion thread that has had multiple Xfinity representatives engaging over the past week.

Thanks for being more helpful in getting the issue resolved, at least.

Is there a way that Xfinity can improve the customer service system so that representatives like the one I spoke with can be more helpful to your customers? (In further clarifying with the chat representative, they said they "are from the entertainment repair team." Could this explain why they seemed persistently unaware of this widespread technical issue?)

Spending over an hour with a representative who was unaware of this issue and instead tried to convince me it was a problem specific to me, as had the two other representatives I chatted with over this past week, is very frustrating.

@quokkad Agreed. It's really frustrating and disappointing that the issue has persisted for so long, even despite our best efforts to resolve it, and we've lost access to benefits as a result :(

We're glad the workaround helped you regain access to your Membership benefits! We do apologize that you experienced this issue for two weeks and missed out on some of the available offers.

Our team is aware of the issue and is continuing to work toward a permanent fix so customers can access their benefits normally without needing a workaround.

Unfortunately, once these limited-time offers expire, we're unable to reinstate or replace them, and we aren't offering billing credits for missed Membership drops.

We understand this isn't the answer you were hoping for, and we're sorry for the inconvenience. We appreciate your understanding and hope you're able to enjoy the upcoming Membership offers now that you've regained access.
