A rendering error occurred: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'fields').

Xfinity Member benefits started getting this error a few days ago

Hello, @user_lruigt! Thank you for letting us know about this issue you've run into with your Xfinity Membership Benefits. We appreciate your patience while waiting on a response from our team, too. Are you still having this problem? If so, what troubleshooting have you tried so far (i.e. clearing your browser's cache and cookies, trying another browser altogether, using incognito mode, etc.)?

user_cfistr Have you tried to clear your cache and cookies to see if that made a difference?

I too am having this issue. I have cleared browser's cache and cookies. I have checked to see if my settings have changed and they are still the same as they always have been. I have tried incognito mode and it still does not work. I have tried explorer and chrome neither work.

We appreciate you sharing that you're experiencing the same error. You've already done quite a bit of troubleshooting, including clearing your cache and cookies, checking your browser settings, using incognito mode, and trying different browsers. We definitely don't want to have you repeat those steps.

Since the issue persists across multiple browsers and other members are reporting the same error, we'd want to investigate whether something is affecting the Xfinity Membership benefits page rather than assume it's an issue with your browser.

One thing we'd like to clarify: Are you able to sign in and view your Xfinity account normally, with the error only appearing when you try to access your Membership benefits? Or are you encountering the error during the sign-in process as well?

That will help us narrow down where the issue is occurring and determine the appropriate next steps.

I am able to sign in and use my account normally except the membership benefits page.

Thanks for confirming! That helps narrow things down quite a bit. Since you're able to access the rest of your account normally and have already tried multiple browsers, clearing your cache, and using incognito mode, this appears to be specific to the Xfinity Membership benefits page.

With other members reporting the same error, we'd like to look into whether there's a broader issue affecting access to Membership benefits rather than have you continue repeating troubleshooting steps.

One thing we haven't checked yet: Have you tried accessing your Membership benefits through the Xfinity app instead of a web browser? If so, are you receiving the same error there?

I’m also having this issue. Only seems to affect the benefits page. Have tried different browsers and devices.

Good Morning, @user_b6vpah! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums. I am very sorry to hear about the experience with reaching the Xfinity Membership page, it certainly not what we want for our customers. Have you attempted incognito mode on the browsers?

user_b6vpah Hmm, does it also not work properly if you use a cellular connection as opposed to using your in-home WiFi connection?

Same issue here. Tried multiple browser, incognito mode, multiple devices, cleared cache, app as well. All same error when trying to redeem today's rewards (or any rewards). No VPN, both wifi and cellular. I am the only account holder.

Same issue on Windows Chrome and Android Chrome.

The dev console is filled with errors. Should be pretty easy to find the cause (I'm a web dev).

I have the same problem, so is it everyone? I've tried on my Android phone using the Chrome browser, and on my Windows desktop PC using Firefox, Edge, and Opera. Every browser says the same thing: A rendering error occurred: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'fields').

Just adding to the documented list of Xfinity customers that are reporting the Membership Benefits page is not loading.  Only seeing the message "A rendering error occurred: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'fields').".

Curious if anyone has noted the page is loading properly for them?

user_arq0n9, thank you for letting us know. Have you already tried a different browser and attempted the incognito/Private browser options to see if you get the same error?
