Error "Host iPhone not active" when trying to activate cellular service on my new Apple Watch SE cellular edition
I just upgraded from an Apple Watch 3 cellular to an Apple Watch SE Cellular. The Apple Watch 3 cellular worked find however I paired my SE and when I try to activate the cellular on it I get an error that says "Host iPhone not active". It goes on to say that the iPhone you're trying to pair with this Apple Watch is jot active on your Xfinity Mobile account.
Well of course it's active, it's my cell phone that I use every day and pay this bill for every month. I'm stuck on that screen and I have chatted with 4 different representatives and most of them tried their best. The last one was great, she said she was working with the advanced team and once she was done doing so she had me reset and re-pair my watch. I still got the same error. She filed a ticket and gave me the ticket number and said I should get a call about it within 24 hours. It's crazy, I don't know what's going on.
The funny about all of this is the same error came up when I activated cellular with my Apple Watch 3. I contacted chat, I was on for awhile but she knew what she was doing and fixed it on my first chat. So, there is a fix but apparently not all of the agents are trained or know how to do so.
This is frustrating, I may see if I can return my watch to Apple and just get the GPS version. I honestly don't have much faith that I'll get a callback telling me it's fixed.
