2 Product Discount

One of the reasons that I switched to Xfinity Mobile, was that there was a 2 product discount (Xfinity Mobile + Xfinity TV/Internet) of $20 per month.  I just heard this month, that the $20 discount has been reduced to just $10.  Is that correct?  If so, that's enough to spur me to move my cell plan to a different carrier.

The mobile was never part of the multi product discount. That service is always billed separately from the in home services. It was $20/mo for TV/Internet and is now $10 on all the new plans. But part of those new plans also lower the cost of the TV related fees and waived the first box charges. So a large majority of customers save money despite the lower multi product discount. But mobile service has no impact on that discount.

I guess I'm surprised and a bit confused.  That was not a discount that I was receiving for having TV/Internet, before I signed up with Xfinity Mobile.  And I  received the discount only when the Xfinity representative told me that I would get it for adding cell service to my account.  So he was pretty specific that it was for having Xfinity Mobile with TV/Internet.  So you are saying that if I were to change cell carriers, and move away from Xfinity Mobile, that I would continue to receive the 2 product discount?  And that all Xfinity customers, who have both TV and Internet through Xfinity, should ask and receive a 2 product discount if they are not currently getting one?  Thanks!

I'm not sure what the other agent would have been referring to. But anyone that has TV/Internet whether it is an older plan or newer plan are automatically given the multi product discount. They are listed on the approval texts and emails whenever you change your plan. Mobile has no impact on those and there should be no accounts that are not receiving it automatically if they have both services.

Mobile has its own separate discounts and promotions and the only connection it has to the in home services is you have to have our internet to qualify for mobile. But other than that it is its own separate bill and does not impact your main plan in any way.
