Why has Xfinity Stream Roku app stopped working and when will it be fixed?

My Xfinity stream app won't stay open on my Roku. It opens for a second or two and then closes and puts me back at the Roku home page. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and rebooting my Roku both before and after the uninstall/reinstall. I'm not having problems with any of my other Roku apps (or at least none of the others I've tried) and my wifi connection and cable connections seem to be fine. Also, it seems others are having the same problem.

Do Xfinity techs read these forums? If so, can someone let me know whether this is a known issue and when it can be expected to be resolved?

Mine is the same, on built in Roku and the other is stick. But iPad and phone work fine.

I’ll keep trying,but I’ve resolved the problem must be xfinity because all of my other apps work just fine on Roku. Another reason to consider saying bye to xfinity.

This may have something to do with Roku's recent SW update.   XS worked yesterday, but after the Roku SW update it stopped working.

Yes, we have the same problem with all 3 Roku devices. It works fine on one Samsung television where we don’t stream through Roku. Fingers crossed they fix this issue. I just returned all Xfinity equipment and purchased Roku sticks to stream the Xfinity app two weeks ago. Ugh.

7:13 am on 11/2/23 in Detroit. Issue started last night, deleted and reinstalled Xfinity stream app. Nothing. Not working on all three Roku TV, can only watch Xfinity on hardwired cable box TV.

Xfinity claims there is an outage on the Roku app and they are working on it but I don't know if that is true or not

If that were true then why are the other Apps in ROKU accessible and working???? It’s definitely XFINITY’s issue! Unacceptable that it has been this long without it being fixed for your paying customers

Same here in Michigan.  Roku TVs and sticks not working.  Fire sticks working fine.
