TV equipment upgrade email

I received an email today, 4/27 stating:

As early as June 6, 2023, your current TV equipment will no longer allow you to access Xfinity On Demand, and that I need to upgrade my TV equipment.

is this a legitimate email from Xfinity or a phishing scam? Thoughts?
