The Pitt S2 E1 on being selected via Comcast Cable TV box is playing a podcast about the episode rather than the actual show episode

HBO MAX notified me Season 2 of The Pitt is now available.   Friday 09-Jan-2026 I selected episode 1 of season 2 via my Comcast TV box.   Rather than playing the actual episode it instead began playing a podcast about the show (with spoilers).   Note that Comcast TV box in addition to listing "The Pitt" when I searched also listed "The Pitt with ASL" as a separate selection and also listed "The Pitt Podcast" as yet another selection.   I did NOT choose either of those.   I selected the one labeled as "The Pitt".

Based on an online search I chose to power cycle the Comcast Cable TV box and my TV to force a "refresh".   However, after the "refresh" the same problem occurred.

I decided to wait until today, Saturday 10-Jan-2026, to see if the overnight maintenance Comcast often does on the Cable TV boxes helped.   Unfortunately, on testing again tonight the problem again occurred.

Since I have a Samsung Smart TV I installed the HBO MAX on it, bypassing the Cable TV box (i.e. using internet streaming on the TV itself).  Using that I am currently watching S2 E1.    This should NOT have been necessary and would not be possible for people who don't have their own Smart TV or attached devices on which to load the HBO MAX app.
