PPV Event - Watch & Record Chosen Yet Event DOES NOT Record
I ordered AEW ALL OUT yesterday and when I placed the order, I choose WATCH & RECORD as I knew I would not be home for the actual event however I wanted to be able to watch it later when I did get home.
Well, I went to go check my recordings this morning and it wasn't there. Thankfully, I was able to get an agent to credit me the $49.99 charge for an event I never got to watch. I was also told that PPV Events can NOT be recorded as they are meant to be watched once.
But still my question is this: Why allow the user to choose an option if it is non-functioning? They shouldn't be misleading customers with a WATCH & RECORD option if its a PPV event vs say an On-Demand movie purchase. At the end of the day, if I am paying $49.99, I should be able to record it and watch it at a later time within say a 24 or 48-hour window.
Can someone in Customer Support please answer this for me and tell me when Xfinity plans to remove this misleading function from their platform?
