Paramount+ Returns APPS-04036 Error

I have tried resetting the modem, doing a system refresh, and clearing the local cache, but apparently like several other people I cannot avoid the APPS-04036 error that appears after the Paramount+ home screen is partially displayed. I had been using Paramount+ for months without any issues, but then the error appeared last week and has never gone away.

I have the same problem and in looking at other posts, this has been an ongoing problem.

I'm sorry to hear that you are also affected and having issues while trying to use the Paramount+ app. I would like to assist you. What troubleshooting have you tried so far?

The problem went away the next day after I cleared the local cache. It came back again after I tried searching in Paramount+. The search failed to retrieve all results, and then I got the original error again. However, the problem went away the next day after I reset the cache again.

With the issue being a known issue on our side, the system issues can come and go while we are working on a fix. With your subscription account, you can use other smart devices or the web browser to access the same content.

Paramont+ error code APPS 04036

I’ve had the same problem for months. Xfinity, fix this already!!!! It’s your problem! We pay for the app, we should be able to use it!
