$1 movies

I'm a platinum member. Should I be getting the monthly $1 movies? It doesn't seem to be consistent. The last one I used expired 1/20 and I haven't received an offer in February at all.

The $1 movie rental in the Xfinity membership program is no longer a guaranteed monthly perk. As of January 21, 2026, the $1 movie rental has been replaced with a rotating selection of perks. This means that while some weeks may feature a $1 rental, others might focus on different offers like Fandango tickets or digital gift cards. To check for the latest available perks, you can visit the Xfinity App or website (xfinity.com/members) and look for the Perks section.

Xfinity had one small perk that benefitted the members - may I add the *ever decreasing members- of the cable TV community.  You removed it without informing your customers, it still presents as a perk when you look through your rewards but defaults to expired status when you try to use it.  Can you please address the question which is why did you take this benefit away?  Did you poll your users?  Has your change enhanced your viewers experience with xfinity?

user_qxm9cw I do not have specifics on the reason this was moved to a rotating reward. New rewards drop every Thursday, and I know the $1 movie reward is still frequently available to our members. You can view offers on our website at https://www.xfinity.com/membership.

The $1 reward movies do not stream for me. They start and then an unxpected error occurs within about 2 to 4 minutes. This had been happening for months. I have contacted support and made tickets but it never works. What do I need to do to fix this issue or to find out if I should quit trying to use the benefit?
