Xumo streaming box setup

I just got a xumo streaming box with my new xfinity account and am having trouble setting it up. Every time I've started the box up, I'll progress through the provided steps until the box prompts "checking your status" when linking my account. It freezes on this message indefinitely. I initially reached out to Xumo support and worked with them to confirm ethernet was working, we tried a factory reset, multiple on-and-off cycles, and still no luck. How do I move forward from here?

Hello, @user_zyd7d4 thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. I wanted to check in to see if you are experiencing issues the Xumo activation still. I'd definitely like to troubleshoot further, please follow up at your convenience to let me know.

I also found on another similar post that this helped with activation: ensure that the name displayed matches your Xumo account. If it doesn't, select "This isn’t me." You can also choose "Skip & set up later" to bypass this step temporarily. If the issue persists, try restarting the device or checking your internet connection.
