Xfinity TV Remote app retired
The Xfinity TV Remote app was retired on Tuesday, February 11. 2025.
It has been removed from the Apple Store and Google Play, as well as from Xfinity.com. Customers attempting to use the app may encounter errors and, eventually, won’t be able to use it.
We have several alternatives to help ensure you have seamless control over your entertainment experience:
- Xfinity Web Remote for Xfinity X1– available on xfinity.com on any mobile device. The Web Remote has many of the same features as the TV Remote app, though it is not compatible with Xumo Stream Box.
- Xfinity Voice Remote– available to Xfinity X1, Xfinity Flex, and Xumo Stream Box customers. I can help you order one and it will be shipped to you (accessory shipping and handling fee may apply). Or you can visit an Xfinity Store to pick one up in person, for free.
- Large-button remotes – available to customers with accessibility needs and are available through Comcast's Accessibility Support Center for Customers with Disabilities.
