TV nightmare

On May 28th, 2024,   an Xfinity crew changed/removed/added equipment on the pole on [Edited: "Personal Information"].   Supposedly, this was to “improve “ or “enhance”  Xfinity service.

Since May 28th,  the service of EVERYONE across the street has been interrupted.    Our previous service was perfect.    From May 28 until now  June 20,  our TV sound has been broken up and the picture has been constantly interrupted or pixilated.

Technicians have been dispatched infrequently to check on the service in the residential units and their conclusion has been that the problem originates in the “improvements” made on NE 8th street…………NOT IN THE RESIDENTIAL UNITS.  Their service reports apparently fall on dead ears.

Despite over a dozen  calls and appointments by myself and neighbors,  NO ONE has been sent out to check the original “improvements” on [Edited: "Personal Information"].

Phone calls to Xfinity service do not reach a local technician in our area,   but are answered by some young women thousands of miles away with a room full of children screaming in the background.

We have been Xfinity customers for years and would prefer to continue to be; however,   many of us are looking elsewhere for our internet service.

Don't hold your breath for Xfinity to resolve your issue, they do not care.  I am having an almost identical issue, the very day I received a text telling me the "enhancements" to the Xfinity network in my neighborhood were complete I started having same issues you describe.   Did chat, phone call, this forum and no resolution.  They REFUSE TO SEND TECH to check wiring/signal to my home unless they have access to inside my home.  NOTHING CHANGED inside my home.  Don't know what type of scam they are running that REQUIRES them to have access to your home when they could easily check outside wiring in probably less than 30 minutes

@notme We are unable to send a technician without having someone home who is 18 and over and on the account to make changes. That is our policy. I totally get how this is not the best answer or the most desirable and I am really sorry.

"We are unable to send a technician without having someone home who is 18 and over and on the account to make changes" What type of changes?  I JUST WANT THE LINE/SIGNAL TO MY HOME CHECKED!!! That would not require any changes
